Join us for a dynamic and inclusive event celebrating the fusion of creativity and mental health healing! Our program features a diverse array of talents, including artists, performers, comedians, martial artists, mental health experts, and more!

This event will explore how comedians balance performing and their mental well-being. We will take a deep dive into getting to know our comedian guests, and their process on writing, performing, the grind of being a professional funny person. But that's not all! We're honored to have representatives from Kaiser Permanente organization joining us, underscoring the importance of holistic health.

Your questions are important to us, and we will be hosting a Q&A session featuring both of our showcased creatives. Along with the Q&A, we will be having a live set performed by both of our comedians for you to enjoy!

🎤🎭 About the Creatives:

Shining Smile - Borned and raised in mainland China, Shining is a first generation immigrant and has been living in the States for almost 20 years.

Like an illuminating star to a sailor in the night, exploration has always guided me in life. With luggage full of little more than hope and excitement, I immigrated to the United States. Sure, not speaking a word of English was scary from time to time, but it never stopped me from achieving my goals. Intrigued by multicultural differences, I used humor to make friends. Laughters help us connect and expand our perspectives. Just a year ago, I tried my first open mic. Despite graduating with Magna Cum Laude, managing multinational projects, and now performing comedy shows all over the Bay,

Paul Robertson - Paul Robertson is a San Francisco comic and local favorite. He performs all over the Bay and started his career in New York City. He produces three shows in the Bay Area: ValueCulture at the BoomBoom Room, The Weekly Show at @ Zingari's Downtown, and The Vita Brevis Club Standup Show.
