🍹 What is H(API) Hour?: Bi-monthly recurring happy hours to support API owned bars while giving a platform to issues that matter to us. Each H(API) Hour has a special guest and topic to encourage discourse (i.e. Asians in tech and the barriers they face, cultural differences, Asians in politics, etc.).

🍹 Dear Community is a grassroots movement that started during the pandemic to create a safe space and support local businesses during the lockdowns. Our mission is to uplift Asian pride and inspire new leaders through community building and activism.

H(API) Hour was co-founded by San Francisco City Attorney David Chiu and API activists years ago to bring together young Asians from diverse backgrounds and sectors to support API causes and establishments.  We are excited to revive this event series as a way to support the #StopAsianHate movement and bring attention to young Asian activists!
