🫖🍫 About Jade Chocolates - Owner and lead chocolatier —Mindy Fong, dreamed up Jade Chocolates after several years working as an architectural designer. Getting inspiration from her immigrant grandfather, Mindy decided to risk leaving her successful career for something that gave her more happiness in life. To honor her roots, she created a chocolate company which blends teas, spices and tropical fruits from Asia and the Pacific Islands. In 2022, Jade Chocolates moved to Chinatown to where her family’s immigrant beginnings began over 150 years ago. Her move to Chinatown allowed Mindy to also expand her creativity and thirst for spreading Asia and Pacific Island history into themed Afternoon Tea service. A few past services included Paniolo Cowboys where patrons learned the history of the Hawaiian cowboys. The Golden Spike Era tea service highlighted the contributions of the two main immigrant groups that built the Transcontinental Railroad.

🔥🥡 Dear Community is a grassroots movement that started during the pandemic to create a safe space and support local businesses during the lockdowns. Our mission is to uplift Asian pride and inspire new leaders through community building and activism.
