CALLING SF YOUTH ARTISTS to join us as we talk about our diverse immigration stories as San Franciscans using the "writing on the walls" format that Angel Island Chinese detainees used to express their painful feelings of being excluded from the American dream.
Participants of all writing levels will learn creative writing skills and be included in our YAX Exhibition with SF Native rapper and singer, Son of Paper. Check out some of SOP's work here. Young Artists between the ages 14-24 will be prioritized but ALL people are welcome to RSVP!
